Following the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, household income from groundnut production remains quite helpful to farmers in the Karene district and the Western Area Rural.

Through the Rural Poor Stimulus Facility (RPSF), over 600 farmers have received seeds for planting, gender-friendly processing equipment, and other agricultural inputs as grant package to help farmers grow groundnut on a relatively larger scale for household consumption and income generation.
