About AVDP
The Agricultural Value Chain Development Project (AVDP) under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry was established on the 16th July, 2019 and will close on the 31st March,2026. The national wide project implementation will span for a period of six (6) years.
Our Mission/Beneficiaries
To ensure that 43,000 household heads comprised of Rural households, individual farmers, FBOs, ABCs, Cooperatives, SMEs, etc. or 258,000 lives are improved through farming, food security and climate change resilience.
Vision/Development Objective
Increase income for smallholder farmers through the promotion of agriculture as a business.
