AVDP hired 44 technicians to support the Development and Rehabilitation of IVS across the country.

The agriculture Value chain development project has hired 44 technicians to support the Inland Valley Swamp Development and Rehabilitation across the country. These technicians according to the project manager Monica Kwame-Greene were hired to support in achieving the project objectives of enhancing rice production. She admonished the technicians who are mostly young women and men to understand that they are the lucky ones from the lots who have not only gained employment after a rigorous recruitment process with the project but will have the opportunity to answer a national call to duty which is to support the Feed Salone initiative of His Excellency the President. These technicians are currently undergoing a five-day orientation and training on different project components and IVS themes to enhance their skills before they are deployed.
