By focusing on mechanization, irrigation, and infrastructure development, AVDP supports the Government’s goals of achieving rice self-sufficiency, promoting crop diversification, and reducing rural poverty. The project is dedicated to empowering smallholder farmers, with a special emphasis on women and youth, to ensure sustainable agricultural growth and improved livelihoods for over 34,000 vulnerable households.
