General Procurement Notice for 2026

The Agriculture Value Chain Development Programme-Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security (AVDP) has received financing from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) towards the cost of Agriculture Value Chain Development Programme and intends to apply part of the financing to payments for contracts for goods, works and services.

The procurement program for the 2026-year period will include the following:

Procurements for 2026

Estimated value – 2,399,854.87 EUR / 66,419,436.10 SLE / 2,789,269.46 USD

Procurement of Goods, to include:
1)      Supply and Delivery of Stationery and Training Materials on a framework contract
2)      Provision of Printing Services on a Framework Contract
3)      Supply and Delivery of Fish Feed and Fingerlings – 2026
4)      Supply and Delivery of Glyricidia and Timber Trees for Intercropping – 2026
5)      “Supply and Delivery of Agrochemicals for 2026 Season “
6)      Supply and delivery of compost manure
7)      Supply and Delivey of Softwares and Communication Materials
8)      Supply and Delivery of Office Furniture
9)      Supply and installation of equipment and materials for Greenhouses
10)   Supply, Delivery and Installation of Equipment
11)   Supply and Delivery of Bulb Onions, Hot Pepper and Tomato Seeds for 2026
12)   Supply and Delivery of Tools
Procurement of Consulting Services, to include:
1)      Consulting Services for  short term consultant to support PMU/GRM committee , and refresher training
Procurement of Works, to include:
1)      Fabrication and Installation of Sign Post and GRM KM Products
2)      Construction of  Additional 75km Farm tracks

 

Contracts for goods, works and services will be implemented according to the principles, rules and procedures set out in the current versions of the IFAD Project Procurement Guidelines and IFAD Procurement Handbook.

Specific procurement notices for contracts to be tendered under the competitive bidding procedures will be announced as they become available on selected portals, in local newspapers, and other media outlets as appropriate.

Obtaining the document and submitting a bid

Step 01

Obtain the bidding document

The bidding document is free of charge.
Email a copy of the payment slip with your full contact details to [email protected].
You will then also receive any updates to the document.

Step 02

Prepare your bid

No pre-bid conference will be held for this tender. Bid security must be provided in the form of a bank guarantee, per lot.

Step 03

Submit before the deadline

Bids are submitted electronically, in the manner set out in the bid data sheet.
Late bids are not accepted under any circumstances.

Financing and recourse

This procurement is financed by , administered by IFAD, and conducted in accordance with the IFAD Procurement Handbook. Complaints about the process may be lodged with the PMU Procurement Officer or the National Public Procurement Authority.
